While in Liberia in October of 08', I met a young boy named Joseph who's doctors thought had a bad heart. His parents love him very much but they don't have access to the medical care he needs in Liberia, and cannot afford the medical help that he can get elsewhere. So we continued to help them search for answers. We  connected Joseph with another doctor who  has since done some more testing and has discovered that it was not his heart but his lung. This doctor is currently treating him the best he can but it is very costly. Joseph will need surgery to fix his lung. We are currently working to obtain a medical visa for him. Joseph is in the 9th grade and hopes to be a geologist one day.  Consider donating towards the medical help Joseph needs to survive today and help him fulfill his dream of a future.
Global Orphan Outreach is also involved in helping medically fragile children with medical visas. Nyenelleh was our first case and he needed a shunt. Working together with the MOHSW, BCH, and with Medical Missions; Nyenelleh was able to travel to the U.S. for the much needed surgery. Nyenelleh recovered well and has since returned home to his foster family in Liberia, October 09'.
. Global Orphan Outreach has partnered with a couple different medical organizations to help work towards bringing these children to the states for medical intervention. If you would like more information on helping or hosting one of these children;
